REVIEW OF MINUTES
BM to collate all emails from Parent Forum members to distribute.
KL suggested about circling minutes so members can action their points. If members be unable to attend find a way
to allow them to action/ be involved in the Forum actions.
TH to find someone to join Parent Forum from Reception class.
Curriculum – shame so few numbers attended. A follow up to come, parents were informed on how this is now
achieved.
Start of the day – generally everyone happy with new arrangements.
Parent Evenings
Queries on Parent evening clarity on “targets” How these are set?
BM Clarity on individual targets how they are worded for parents.
KL suggested that a synopsis of the child’s day as they go through the school, a guideline. BM to action this.
KL suggested that we have time with teachers without your child being there.
SS suggested that we opt in an additional evening for parents to do this.
BM to organise whether an additional “well-being “ of their child meeting.
COMMUNICATION
To remind parents through school newsletter in Jan who members are and when next meeting will be held.
SW action to have a weekly reminder of Parent Forum so that everyone is kept informed.
Website continually being updated; calendar to be added.
BM gmail so that parents can add calendar to their phones.
PARENT MEETINGS – see above
STAFFING
BM will inform all of current staffing by end of next week.
HOMEWORK
SS Homework to be consistent, out on the day it should be. BM to follow up.
INFORMATION EVENTS
KL Good to see commitment regarding curriculum meeting from children and staff. See above for other notes.
BM asked whether a Maths meeting would be helpful?
JOINT MEETING
BM suggested again that the Parent Forum across the Federation meet midway through the year. All in favour.
IDEAS
TH Shoes to be removed when in school, an idea from Lanes End.
BM Use of field during winter months, bring in wellingtons.

LBP Children when bare foot in PE (verrucas)
LBP More regular change of reading books, offered to come in to help change them
KL Dojos ….all to understand and when and why they given.
KL Friendships in particular girls,
