own successful practices. CFR’s discover and expand their natural market and learn as they are directly supported by their
individual mentors, Managing Directors, College Unit Directors, Team Lead, Director of Training and Technology, RACE coaches,
veteran Financial Representatives and the Campus Recruiters. Like full-time Financial Representatives, CFR’s strive to
understand their clients' goals and visions in order to uncover financial solutions through hands-on experience.
At Northwestern Mutual we believe training is a process, not an event. CFR’s attend weekly professional development training.
The students work very closely with the College Unit Director, Managing Director, and their individual mentors. The
Northwestern Mutual CFR internship is a valuable opportunity for students to combine classroom learning with real-life insight
to one of the World’s Most Admired Life Insurance Companies. – Fortune Magazine 2013
