The climatic variables were acquired during the whole crop cycle in each trial: daily air temperature (°C), rainfall (mm),
Penman evapotranspiration (mm), global radiation (MJ/m²) and PAR values (MJ.m-2). Data acquisition was performed by
the INRA meteorological station n°352400001 endorsed by Météo France. The four climatic periods (autumn, winter,
spring and grain filling period) were defined in the Materials and Methods section.
