Position Purpose
To drive employment outcomes for Aboriginal people in the East Kimberley using the JSA contract.
Wunan’s Employment Services have developed a range of solutions that support people to take this journey. A key component of this is
the reduction of dependence on welfare and support people into real jobs whilst also offering safe, quality housing.
The Site Manager motivates, guides, supports and develops staff working closely with the JOB futures national team to track
performance and ensure delivery of a coherent integrated service to job seekers and employers.
A key position objective is to achieve high performance in the Employment Services Contract 2009 – 2012 whilst maintaining contractual
compliance.
Remuneration
Dependent on experience.
9% superannuation

Files, file notes, claim evidence and correctly
completed forms in line with the DEEWR

Staff development and training which includes ensuring that staff members have full contractual and
procedural knowledge (issue contracts, guidelines and updates) and regular reviews of performance.

Monitoring of placements, ensuring that they are correctly input in a timely fashion.

Monitoring of Post Placement Support (PPS) ensuring that outcome requirements are being met.

Monitoring of outcome claims ensuring that appropriate documentary evidence has been gained.

Monitoring of service claims ensuring that correct procedures including documentary evidence has been
gained.

Monitoring of use of the Employment Pathway Fund (EPF) ensuring that suitable documentation has
been gained and that Professional Services Manager (PSM) is used for internal expenditure.

Monitoring of records of contacts and other activities in DEEWR system, JF Central and PSM to ensure
that all activity is being undertaken and correctly documented.

Monitoring that service delivery is being undertaken according to the DEEWR and JOB futures contracts.

Undertake extensive liaison in the community securing contacts, resources, partnerships and
information; and undertaking marketing of JOB futures.

Partake fully in JOB futures Compliance program.

Undertake extensive analysis of performance data and indicators in order to understand trends.

Quickly implement remedial action if targets are not being met.

Maintain thorough knowledge of job opportunities in the local labour market.
