SafanDarley will be present at Fabtech 2015 with a wide number of new
products.
One of the new products is the E-Brake 44 US Ton 1600 (5 ft) Ergonomic. In addition to
the Ergonomic machine SafanDarley will show the E-Brake 165 US Ton (10 ft) with CNC
crowning, an E-Brake 55 US Ton (8 ft) and an M-Shear 310-8 (10 ft) with cutting
capacity of 0.315 inches requiring only 22 liters of oil (with Return to Sender options).
SafanDarley starts new USA branch in Baltimore, Maryland
SafanDarley North-America will operate as a sales and service-support organization for
all customers and dealers in the United States.
Baltimore’s state of art facilities will include an experience center showcasing
SafanDarley’s full range of machines (or you can say “the full range of SafanDarley
machines”) along with a sales and service training center. The main goal will be to
support SafanDarley customers with a local helpdesk and local after sales service and
spare parts. The branch will be staffed by both Dutch and American service engineers. By
creating the North American branch, SafanDarley is making a major commitment to our
customers and partners in North America. SafanDarley expects that the creation of this
branch will help strengthen their sales growth which is projected to be 20% to 30% in
the North American market over the next few years.
Off-line programming bending software by Autopol
SafanDarley will also show the latest developments in Autopol offline software. With the
acquisition of the Swedish software maker FCC Software (inventor of Autopol off-line
software) in 2014, SafanDarley has taken a very important step towards continuing to be
an major (do not want to use “important” twice in the sentence) player in the precision
press brake market. The successful integration between both companies has helped spike
an increase in demand for off-line bending software.
The sheet metal market is demanding that press brake operators produce a wider variety
of parts at even faster production times. Autopol off-line software offers a solution to
avoid stopping the press brake when making a new bending program. Starting with a 3D
file, a user programs the press brake off-line. The user generates a press brake file which
produces the optimal forming program. The part program will contain the correct
tooling, tooling set up sheets, bend sequencing, correct part radius and a 3D file showing
the operator how the part is formed during each step. By doing this off-line, any
problems that may arise can be accounted for before the part reaches the production
floor.
Autopol also produces a highly accurate developed blank length and exports a dxf file
that can be used to program your existing lasers and turret punch presses. Delivering a
correct blank to your press brake operator will assure accurate formed parts. In addition
off-line programming will reduce your scrap rate and machine downtime.
New Product : E-Brake 44 US Ton 1600 (5 ft) Ergonomic
SafanDarley has expanded its E-Brake Ergonomic press brakes series, a compact,
portable, high-speed electric press brake, with a 40 ton metric ( 44-US ton) model that
offer higher capacity and a longer working length of 1600 mm (5 ft). The Ergonomic 44
US Tons has an open height of 23 inches standard and a stroke of 12 inches standard.
The ergonomic series is designed for bending small parts. Rapid acceleration and
deceleration of the electrical servo-driven ram delivers approach speeds up to 430 IPM.
The machine has a compact footprint of 101 by 69 inches.
SafanDarley offers 3 models of ergonomic machines in the range of 22 US Ton, 39 US
Ton and 44 US Ton.
