On motion of Mr. Lagasse, seconded by Mr. Roberts, the following resolution
was offered:
RESOLUTION NO. 124366
A resolution to amend Resolution Number 124279, adopted
January 28, 2015, to correct the name of the endorsed
program participant from Best Western Plus Landmark Hotel
to Gulf Ventures Associates, L.L.C. (Council District 5)
WHEREAS, Resolution Number 124279, adopted January 28, 2015, endorsed
Best Western Plus Landmark Hotel to participate in the benefits of the Restoration Tax
Abatement Program in the Jefferson Parish Economic Development District;
WHEREAS, the program participant’s name, Best Western Plus Landmark Hotel,
is incorrect;
WHEREAS, the proper name for Best Western Plus Landmark Hotel is Gulf
Ventures Associates, L.L.C.; and
WHEREAS, Resolution Number 124279, adopted January 28, 2015, endorsing
Best Western Plus Landmark Hotel should be amended to reflect the proper program
participant’s name as Gulf Ventures Associates, L.L.C.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Jefferson Parish Council of
Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, acting as governing authority of said Parish:
SECTION I. That Resolution Number 124279, adopted January 28, 2015, be
and is hereby amended to reflect the proper program participant’s name as Gulf
Ventures Associates, L.L.C.
SECTION II. That the Parish Clerk shall forward a copy of this resolution
approved by the Jefferson Parish Council to the Louisiana State Board of Commerce
and Industry, the Louisiana Tax Commission, The Assessor of Jefferson Parish, and the
State of Louisiana Department of Economic Development.
The foregoing resolution having being submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was
as follows:

The resolution was declared to be adopted on this the 11th day of February,
