Organization:
The Rochester RazorSharks are a professional basketball team based in Rochester, New York. They are
members of the Premier Basketball League and play their home games at the Blue Cross Arena in downtown
Rochester. The Rochester RazorSharks are the 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2014 PBL Champions.

Description:
The Rochester RazorSharks of the PBL are seeking 1-2 intern to assist with managing the day to day ticket
operation function along with managing the day to day ticket service functions both in the office and at all
RazorSharks home game.
Responsibilities:
● Attendance at all RazorSharks home games required
● Updating and filtering the RazorSharks database to ensure accurate information for the sales team.
● Creating ticket templates and printing tickets to be mailed.
● Assisting the sales team at events, while interacting with fans and prospects to help sell tickets
● Represent the RazorSharks and its partners and sponsors with enthusiasm, energy, and
professionalism.
● Help with planning and organizing various initiatives and programs.
● Perform daily office duties assigned by Director of Ticket Sales or General Manager.
Qualifications:
● Ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner with internal and external clients.
● Have an outgoing and dynamic personality and willing to approach people
● Willing to travel and interact with a large number of people.
● Ability to work a flexible schedule with nights, holidays and weekends.
● Previous box office/ticketing/Ticketmaster experience preferred but not required
● Reliable transportation
● Strong computer skills
Ticket Operations Internship
IN OFFICE
Create and distribute RazorSharks office sales reports – Courtside seats, season tickets,
group/special event tickets.
Prepares season and group ticket orders as requested.
Provides information to the public by phone, social media, web site and email
database.
Fulfill all ticket orders: in-person, incoming call/email requests.
Assist in the delivery of all tickets.
Collaborate with Marketing and Graphic Design to create ticket promotions/special
event tickets.
Present promotional ideas and ticket reports to management.
Collaborate with Marketing to reach out to local businesses for special event group
ticket offers.
Learn how to use and operate TM360 (computer program).
GAME DAY
Game day setup and breakdown.
Setup autograph table during the game.
Inform coaches who will be assigned to the autograph table.
Collect cash box from 50/50 raffle and merchandise.
Assist with “Register To Win” and “Half-Court Shot” drawings.
Build relationships with season ticket holders.
Collect ticket reports, vouchers, and audits at halftime from the box office.

Day:
Taking last minute group ticket orders and getting them to the BCA box office prior to
game
Assisting in making sure all will call tickets are in place prior to game
Handling player ticket requests – home & away
Oversee the will call window at the BCA on game days
