Next Choreography Programme 2015/16 Application Form
I would like to apply to join Next Choreography a yearlong course in choreography,
with regular once a week sessions in term time.

like help filming your answers email emilyj@siobhandavies.com to book a free session with
our film technician).
Please provide as much information as possible about you. We are seeking choreographically
curious, committed young people to join the course. Your answers will help us to gauge if
Next Choreography is the right course for you and whether to offer you a place at a selection
event on either 14 or 21 July, for a place on the course in 2015/16.

There will be a one off fee for the Next Choreography yearlong course of £75. Payment will be
due by September 2015. If you are offered a place on the course and wish to accept but are

Next Choreography is a yearlong course for a small selected group of 14- 21 year
olds. Successful applicants will be required to attend regular sessions, on Thursday
evenings, in term time from September 2015 - July 2016 at Siobhan Davies Studios as
well as visits to galleries/ theatres etc.

3. As a participant of Next Choreography you would look at the choreographic
processes used by artists across different art forms, create your own work and
curate a festival of choreography.

Applications for Next Choreography 2015/16 close on 6 July 2015.
Shortlisted applicants will be notified by 10 July and invited to attend a selection event on 14
or 21 July.
At the selection event shortlisted applicants will have the opportunity to ask questions and
take part in practical tasks. Following the selection event we will invite up to 15 young
people to join Next Choreography for 2015/16. Successful applicants will be notified by 27
July.
