SYNERGISTIC ACTIVITIES
IMDP.inc is a Georgia based small business that is involved in research, technology and developing of
models and modeling tools. This company interfaces between University and Industry trying to find
innovative solutions from materials, processing, surface coatings and treatments to materials design by
using especially developed modeling software. Although IMDP.inc has its own facility it is strongly
affiliated with the Department of Material Science and Engineering at the Georgia Institute of
Technology. IMDP’s founders worked extensively on materials such as aluminum, magnesium, titanium,
steels, Carbon-Carbon Composites, Carbonanotubes, High Tc Superconductors, Magnetoresitive
Materials, Shape Memory Materials, Nano-magnets, Optical Materials and Fuel Cell Materials. The
company is a Phase I and Phase II awardee (Topic N07-125) and has gained experience in collaborating
with larger prime government contractors.
