Happy 2014-2015 back-to-school greetings to Middle-level and High School Principals across our great
state!
Student Council, one of your school’s most active assets, should have goals galore to enhance campus
life and provide service to your community for this school year!
The New Mexico Association of Student Councils (NMASC) offers many leadership opportunities to assist
NMASC member middle-level and high school students in developing the skills they need to enhance
their leadership style. NMASC also offers networking and support for school advisors.
In addition to our annual state-wide events, NMASC is honored and very excited that New Mexico has
been selected to host two national events - Fall 2014 and Summer 2015!
More about NMASC can be found at nmasc.org with updates appearing frequently. Please share our
website with your school’s student council advisor.
Thank you for visiting with your school’s student council advisor about the many leadership events
planned for NMASC member schools. You and/or your school’s student council advisor are welcome to
contact me. NMASC is looking forward to working with your student leaders and your school advisor(s)!
