Meeting Minutes

The regular weekly meeting of the College Panhellenic Association was held on
WEDNESDAY JANUARY 14, 2015 AT 4:30PM

DELTA PHI EPSILON motioned to forgo the reading of the past minutes, SIGMA KAPPA seconded the motion, the
past minutes stand approved as sent by the Vice President of Administration.
Guest speakers:

Ally Scully- February 3rd service opportunity, contact if interested in volunteer hours with an upcoming
campaign. 248-990-4518.



The first Philanthropy council was held on Sunday. We made some revisions to our
philanthropy resolution and also reviewed several packets. I will be meeting with
fraternity philanthropy chairs to discuss the outcome of the meeting. Delegates, please
share the resolutions I have emailed you with your chapter president so everyone is on
the same page. Next meeting- Feb 8th 2015.
Keep an eye out for social media and continue to retweet etc.
VP of Programming


Bracelets are available in the FS Office, please ask your chapters if they have ordered
any.
Community meeting 5:30pm in BK.
VP of Recruitment


Recruitment director interviews this week and will be announced next meeting.
Rho Gamma applications will come out January 19th 2015.


Delegate training is January 28th following the general meeting. Will be getting in touch
via email later this week.

MLK Banquet is next Wednesday 5pm-8:30pm in Live Oak (see flyer) RSVP by Friday!
Please send 3-5 members per chapter, pin attire!

Chapter Announcements
 Alpha Delta Pi:
We had a great first chapter this past Sunday!
For the sisters that went to Learn to Lead, including myself had an amazing time! We
learned so much and learned how to grow in our positions. We also had a great time
with all of Greek Life and actually started some new friendships through other
organizations
- We also had a great time at Grilling for Greeks!
- We all can't wait for Spring Recruitment, and can't wait to see the new potential
members come out!
We had elections and appointed positions this past Sunday.
- We have our first sisterhood event this Thursday the 15th, at the Basketball game at
7:00pm.
- We started Sisterhood hours back up this semester and it will begin the 20th at 16
handles.
 Alpha Xi Delta:
Had our first chapter this past Sunday, and it was really nice to see everyone again!
Super excited for this semester.
 Delta Phi Epsilon:
Hi everyone, hope you’re all having a great week! Good luck to everyone doing spring
recruitment!
Our Field Day that was canceled in the fall has been rescheduled to Saturday January
24th from 1-3pm. Tabling will begin next week and your chapters will be getting more
info soon. Hope to see you all there!
 Theta Phi Alpha:
We hope everyone had a great first week back to school. Over the past weekend we
volunteered at Boca's Helping Hands, which was a very eye opening experience. We look
forward to doing it again soon.
We had a great time at our first sisterhood event of the semester last Friday. This week
we have another sisterhood at Painting with a Twist. Have a great rest of the week.

Sigma Kappa:
-We had a great time at Grillin’ with the Greeks
-We have been tabling this week and our spring recruitment process starts on Friday and
goes until Monday! We are excited to welcome home some new members.
-We are looking forward to the Greek Meeting tonight
-And we hope everyone has a great week
 Phi Mu
I hope everyone is having a lovely week! Our sisters had a wonderful time at the Learn to
Lead Conference this past Saturday. We learned some amazing leadership skills, and
were able to bring them back to our chapter.
Sunday at chapter, we talked about self-confidence and body image. We watched a
couple videos and followed it up with a discussion, if any of you are interested in seeing
them, or bringing them back to your chapter just let me know!
We also had a great time getting to know other members of the Greek community better
at Grillin' with the Greeks this past Monday.
We are excited for the Greek Community Meeting at 5:30, and I hope you all have a
great rest of your week.
