Users can run an Academic Advisement Report for
a student who has not yet matriculated by running a
What-If report based on the student’s intended plan
of study. This requires manually entering the
Career, Program, Plan and Sub-Plan data on the
Career Simulation page of the Advisement Report
Request. CMS modification AA02002 provides a
method to pull data from the student’s Admission
Application to run the What-If. The reported issue
is that while the pushbutton to copy data from the
Admission Application populates the page, running
the AAR results in a ‘No Academic Careers Found’
error. This was due to incorrect sequencing of the
Analysis Database Sequence.

 The process has been revised so that the WhatIf AAR runs successfully using the data produced
using the CMS Copy pushbutton
 A “Process Request” pushbutton has been
added to the Pre-Matric Audit page to facilitate
producing the report

For campuses using the CSU Appointment Display
modification, an update applied in MP16.03
prevented students with summer registration
appointments from accessing the change term
option and were therefore unable to register. In
another case, Early Start students attempting
enrollment via the Enroll in Early Start link did see
the choose term option (for summer only). After
selecting Summer term and continuing, the term
selection grid return with only a fall option.
Therefore, students were unable to register for
Early Start.

Documents listed below have been identified and scheduled for an update to support changes in this
maintenance pack. Please note, only changes that impact the campuses’ ability to apply this maintenance pack
and/or implement new functionality are updated with maintenance pack releases. Minor changes to documents
are made according to the normal application upgrade cycle.
While every effort is made to release the new documents on the same day of the maintenance pack release, this
is not always possible. In cases where the updates are pending, CMS will deactivate the link for the older version
of the document on the CMS website to avoid downloading the improper version. The link will then be reactivated on the CMS website when the new update is posted.

Appendix B: Known Issues

Issue Description
As the result of HR Bundle 26 delivery in MP16.03 (3/27/2015), special campus steps are required to
manually refresh a new record group that was delivered by PeopleSoft in HR Bundle 26. Campus only
need do this once, so if your campus has already done these steps, there is nothing; further for you to do.
The impact is seen in the recruiting display of the Job Title in the Job Openings Detail page. Without this
refresh the job title is blank.
To manually refresh this record group follow the following steps:
1.
Navigate to the Record Group component:
Main Menu  PeopleTools  Utilities  Administration  Record Group
2.
Open Record Group ID = HR_02
3.
Find the record: HRS_JOBCODE_I5 – Job Codes Interface View
4.
Copy the record name
5.
Delete the row
6.
Save
7.
Return to Search
8.
Re-select HR_02 Record Group ID
9.
Insert a row under the “Records in Group” column
10. Type in or paste: HRS_JOBCODE_I5
11. Save
