“A Day in the Life of….”
Task : To create a diary entry OR comic strip from the point of view of your chosen
character describing a day in their life, living in the town your group created.
This will be an individual grade.
Directions :
1. Review your character description (from Part One) and, if you have not already done so,
choose a name. Copy down information from the “Town Info” sheet at the bottom of this
page
2. Complete or review the guide to reading questions/answers assigned to your role.
3. Create a story line or series of events to include in your diary entry/comic strip – be sure
the events/topics will enable you to include all of the information from the guide to reading.
4. Review the rubric.
5. Start working on the journal entry/ comic strip
