The Town of Elgin is accepting bids for
Garbage Collection.
Services include the following:
• To collect and dispose of household garbage only on a weekly
basis from each residence within the Town Limits of Elgin. SC
and dispose of in accordance- with the laws and ordinances of
the County of Kershaw, State of South Carolina and the United
States of America.
• Contractor agrees to perform this service for the period of ( 1)
one year.
• Contractor agrees to provide proof of Worker's Compen sation
Insurance on all of its employees participating in the garbage
collection .
• Contractor agrees to provide to the Town of Elgi n proof of
liability insurance on all vehicles used by the Contractor.
Bids wi ll be accepted through September 30, 2015 and
opened at our October 6 th, 2015 Town Council Meeting.
