FANCY DRESS COMPETITION
The Junior Wing of BRCM Public School
Vidyagram, Bahal organized Fancy Dress
Competition on 01 May 2014 in Swami
Vivekananda Auditorium. Students from classes IV
to VI participated with great enthusiasm. Some of
the personal in which the children were dressed
included a Mermaid, Hanuman, Master Chef,
Barbie Doll and many more. The show was judged
by Mrs Ankur Jaiswal , Mrs Gitanjali Pradhan, and
Mrs. Ligmol. The competition was appreciated by
the Principal. The enthusiasm and zeal with which
the children participated and performed was
extremely commendable.

An Inter Classroom Display Board Competition was
held on 3rd May 2014. The innovative ideas of the
students could be seen in the form of excellent and
colorful display as interesting topics were depicted
in their own creative ways. This not only brought
out the creativity of the students but they also learnt
to work as a team to achieve a common goal. The
classes were judged on the following parameters:
Cleanliness, seating arrangement, display of soft
boards and the behaviour of the students. The

INTER HOUSE KIT LAY OUT AND HOUSE
DECORATION COMPETITION
An Inter House Kit Lay Out and House Decoration
was held on 3May, 2014. The House Masters as
well as the students were busy decorating their
houses. The students gave their cent percent efforts
to put up a great show because dorms are students
own little spot of heaven on earth. The houses were
judged on the following parameters: Cleanliness,
locker room, cupboards, display of soft boards,
House Master’s office and over all behaviour of the
students. The incharge of the competition was Mr
Sahedeo Singh.

melodiously sang the Guru Vandana. The famous
play by Rabindranath Tagore ‘Bhikaran’ was
staged followed by a classical dance by junior girls.
At the end, a PPT was shown on the life,
achievements and works of Gurudev. The Chief
Guest of the evening was Principal, in his speech
Sir reiterated the life of Gurudev and also said that
we should be proud of such noble souls who started
the new dawn of independence. It was highly
appreciated by everyone. This event left an indelible
impression on the students and staff

On 9 May 2014 Vipula House organized a show to
felicitate the 154 th birth anniversary of Gurudev
Rabindranath Tagore.

CARD MAKING COMPETITION
Mother’s Day is celebrated with lot of enthusiasm
in 46 countries across the globe. It is a celebration
honoring
mothers
and
motherhood,
the
unconditional love of mothers and their influence in
society. Mothers are our guiding force and are
responsible for making us who we are. To generate
this special feeling in our students and give them a
chance to express their love the Art Department
organized a Card Making Competition on 11 May,
2014 for classes IV to VII. Many students
participated with great enthusiasm. The students
made very beautiful cards on Mother’s Day. The
judges were Ma’am Nishi Rana ,Mr Rajesh Jhajaria
and Mr Sahedeo Singh

SPECIAL ASSEMBLY FOR ACADEMIC
ACHIEVERS 2013-14
A Special Assembly in recognition of academic
performance of students, for excellence in
academics for SA-I was organized on 13 May 2014.
Thirty eight students were awarded Gold Cards by
honorable Principal. The Principal began the
assembly with an inspirational speech and
applauded all winners. He also dissuaded students
who didn’t qualify from being discouraged and
instilled a deep sense of confidence in them. It was
indeed a proud moment for the achievers, their
parents and the school

MATHEMATICS IS FUN!
Mathematics is a great motivator for all humans
because it’s career starts with ‘zero’ but it never
ends (infinity)’. Keeping this great thought in mind
the Mathematics Department organized Aryabhata,
which was held on 27 April 2014. It was an
‘Olympiad’ based on interesting activities of
Mathematics. It was for classes IV to X divided into
three categories. Such interesting Olympiads are
very useful for inculcating and developing
competency amongst the students. The students
participated enthusiastically and made learning an
experience.
