IMS COMPANIES ACQUIRES THE OPERATIONS OF DIEBEL MANUFACTURING COMPANY
IMS Companies LLC (Innovative Manufacturing Solutions) of Elk Grove Village, IL – A holding Company
with manufacturing operations in the Midwest and Mexico announces the acquisition of Diebel
Manufacturing Company of Morton Grovc, IL. IMS provides metal stampings, sheet metal fabrications,
specialized machining and custom wire harness and cable assemblies to OEM’s in the appliance,
automotive, electronic, industrial and medical industries.
Diebel Manufacturing, founded in 1937, has long served original equipment manufacturers as a premier
source for complex metal stampings and assemblies. Equipment and personnel from Diebel will be
absorbed into the operations of IMS Buhrke Industries. IMS Buhrke, one of the IMS companies, is a
highly regarded tool building and metal stamping business with a 56 year history and certification to TS
16949, ISO 9001:000 and ISO 14001 standards. IMS Buhrke has operations in Arlington Heights, IL,
Downers Grove, IL and Monclova, Coahuila, Mexico.
The acquisition was completed on April 24, 2006. Consolidation of the Diebel Manufacturing operations
to IMS Buhrke facilities should be completed in June, 2006.
