Presented by Camp Invention, taught by trained
volunteer. This class teaches STEM content while
weaving medieval history, basic scientific principals,
and hands-on creativity through challenges every
session. While assuming the roles of lords, knights,
craftspeople, and serfs, children work in cooperative
groups to complete each task. Children explore the
concept of buoyancy by building boats to carry weight
to cross a castle moat. Groups build weight-bearing
drawbridge and design & build catapults.

Taught by two UW-Green Bay students fluent in the
Spanish language. Students will work in classroom
format and in small groups learning basic Spanish.
Presented by Katherine Schneider. Students’
fingerprints will be turned into winter themed art on a
personalized, quality ceramic keepsake. Handcrafted
touches will be added finishing these keepsakes
before firing them and sending them home completed
in gift bags. Each student will also choose an additional
winter craft to complete as a gift to that special person
of their choice. Students will also enjoy an after school
snack, paper snowball fight, snow covered branch
(food craft) to be enjoyed at home, and creating
handmade cards. Gifts will be returned home in gift
bags prior to Winter Break.
