THE ST. AUGUSTINE ALTAR AND ROSARY SOCIETY will meet at 5PM this Monday, January 21, at the
parish rectory. All ladies of the parish are invited to attend.
“SOAKING PRAYER” EXPERIENCE next Friday, January 25th at 6 p.m. at St. Bernard’s. Soaking prayer
is simply positioning yourself to express your love to God. It is not intercession. It is not coming to
God with a list of needs. It is the act of entering into the presence of God to experience His love -and then allowing the love of God through the Holy Spirit to revolutionize your love for Him. Using
quiet music and postures of rest, we enter into a peaceful time of receiving from the Lord. Come give
it a try and leave refreshed!
FINANCE COUNCIL DATE CHANGE Due to a number of member conflicts, the St. Parish Pastoral and
Finance Councils will now meet Wednesday, January 30 in the church basement. Finance Council
will meet at 6:00 p.m. and Parish Council will meet at 7:00 p.m.
