Sale Rules and Guidelines:
1. Consignors must be members of the Missouri Limousin Breeders Association prior to sale.
2. All Cattle must be registered with the North American Limousin Foundation and tattooed in accordance with the NALF
rules.
3. Only Fullblood, Purebred, Percentage & Lim-Flex bulls will be accepted. All bulls must meet the following requirements to
sell:
*Bulls must be on feed at Green Springs Bull Test to qualify OR meet the following criteria:
*Maximum birth weight of 95 pounds.
*Minimum weaning weight of 600 pounds.
*Minimum yearling weight of 1200 pounds.
*Minimum yearling scrotal circumference of 32 cm.
*Disposition score of 1 or 2.
*All bulls must be semen tested.
*All bulls 12 months of age and older must be trichinosis tested.
*Any bull arriving at the sale and not meeting this criteria will not be allowed to sell and will forfeit their entry fee.
4. Only Fullblood, Purebred, Percentage & Lim-Flex females will be eligible to sell. All females must meet the following
requirements:
*All females 24 months of age and older must be safe in calf or have a calf at side.
*Bred females must be vet checked with approximate calving dates.
*All performance data must be on file with NALF.
*Unruly cows/heifers will not be allowed to sell.
*Sale committee has the discretion to eliminate cows/heifers with bad udders, structure problems and disposition
problems if they see fit.
5. Pregnant recipients/planned matings, flushes, and frozen embryos are eligible to sell.
6. All naturally horned cattle must be dehorned.
7. Entry fees on all cattle will be forfeited if they do not meet disposition or fertility guidelines in the rules above. Also, entry
fees will be forfeited on cattle that are cataloged but not at the sale. All cattle that go through the ring and do not sell will
be charged the full sale expense and the entry fee.

*All entries & registration certificates must be returned by March 1, 2016
*Calves born between February 1, 2016 and the sale date must have registration application if not yet registered.
Documentation of birth weights, polled status, tattoos, and all other information must be in order.
*Current NALF performance records must be completed and up to date.
*Consignors must provide footnote & breeding status(breeding dates, AI dates, pasture exposure dates, service
sires w/their registration numbers, calves at side-color, horned/polled status, sex, tattoos, birth dates, birth
weights & sire). Identify OCV vaccination and if herd is certified/accredited.
