AUGUST 12 ELECTION DAY
The Fall Partisan Primary will be held on
August 12, 2014 at the Arlington Community
Center from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Please contact
the Village Office if you have any questions or to
register to vote. Please make sure to bring proof
of residence when registering.
BE A POLLWORKER
The Village is in need of poll-workers for upcoming
elections. Have you always wondered how an election is
done? Would you love to join us for a day of doing something
very important for your Village, County, State, and Country?
Give me a call or stop in on August 12 and we’ll chat.
ONLINE WATER/SEWER PAYMENTS
Wisconsin Payments will no longer be accepting
online credit card payments. We are researching offering
other options. Please watch the Village website or your
quarterly bill for more information.
HOUSE NUMBERS
Section 6.16(c) requires building and house
numbers to be affixed on the front of each
building within the Village. Numbers should
be at least 2.5 inches high and able to be seen
by a person of ordinary eyesight on the public
street. Please verify your home/building has a
number that is easily visible for our local Fire Department
and EMS should it be needed for yourself or one of your
neighbors.
GRASS MOWING
When you mow your grass – please be considerate
and keep the clippings off the street, sidewalk, your
neighbor’s driveway and vehicles.
WATER DISCONNECTS
The Village will give 24 hour notice to all past due
accounts by tagging the home with a disconnection notice.
Once this tag has been issued, payment for water/sewer
must be paid in cash to the Village Office. Cash must be
received in office for re-connection by 3:15 to get same day
re-connection. Cash dropped off after 3:15 p.m. or in the
night drop will be credited the next business day and water
will be turned on as soon as Public Works is able. Please
make sure all faucets are turned off. Any damage done would
be your responsibility.

STREET LIGHT ISSUES
Do you have a street light out or one that is always

It’s fairly easy and Alliant can get the light fixed right away.
