Franklin County Fair
THIRD DEPARTMENT - SHEEP

Show - Friday, July 24, 2015 at 9:00 am
1. Read all rules and regulations before making entries.
2. Entries can be made using one of the following options:
1. Online entries–see online entry instructions, online entry deadline midnight
July 11, 2015.
2. Mail in entries must be post marked by July 11, 2015.
3. Entry fee $2.00 per head /entry.
4. All breeding sheep three months old or older must be registered.
5. All sheep exhibits must be free of scrapies and other diseases.
6. No exhibitor shall be permitted to collect more than two (2) premiums in any one class.
7. All exhibitors must purchase season or membership tickets.
8. All animals must be on the fairgrounds by 8:00 am, Saturday, July 18, 2015.
9. No health papers needed, however the animal will be checked by the fair vet.
10. No animals may be shown in any class other than the class in which that animal is qualified.
11. All entries must be presented to the judge in the show ring.
12. All market lambs, must be weighed and identified before showing. Market lambs are to be
weighed and identified beginning on July 18, 2015 at 1:00 pm.
13. All market lambs must have been owned by the exhibitor for at least thirty days before the show.
14. Exhibitors are to furnish own bedding and must clean out all pens before leaving the grounds.
15. All exhibitors must purchase Season or Membership passes to show.
16. All market lambs entered in Jr. Fair must stay on exhibit until 11:00 pm on the last day of the
fair.

Section 14 Market Lamb Show

21. All lambs must be slick shorn (No Butt Wool)

Classes will be divided into Light, Medium and Heavy weight. (Directors in charge have the right to
combine classes if low entries.)
