HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE DAY 2013
Household hazardous wastes are products that
contain corrosive, toxic, ignitable, or reactive
ingredients. Improper disposal of these wastes might
not be immediately obvious, but improper disposal
can pollute our environment, and pose a major threat
to human health in our community.
North Star BlueScope Steel LLC wants the community to dispose of these hazardous wastes in a safe and
convenient manner. North Star BlueScope Steel LLC will be sponsoring a household hazardous waste
collection drive on Saturday November 16th, 2013, between 9am and 2pm. You can bring your wastes to
the plant entrances and will be directed to the drop off location. North Star BlueScope Steel LLC is
located at 6767 County Rd. 9, Delta, Ohio 43515.
We will be accepting the following material:
 Scrap Metal
 Paint and Paint
Products
 Aerosols
 Pesticides/Herbicides
 Corrosives – Acids
 Corrosives – Base
 Oil
 Antifreeze
 Fuel






Automotive Batteries
Mercury
Propane Cylinders
Fluorescent Tubes
Medial Sharps
Over the Counter
Medicine (EXPIRED)
 Furniture Polish
 Floor Care Products
 Gasoline








Electronics
Lighter Fluid
Kerosene
Pool Chemicals
Oxidizers
Light bulbs
Fire Extinguishers
Smoke Detectors
