Basic Family Tree Research Project (4-5 generations)
Consists of 10 hours of research, preparation of a fully cited research report,
copies of the documents obtained during research, and suggestions for further
research. (If more time is needed, and client agrees to continue, the rate is
$25/hour.)

Ancestor/Place/Period Study
Research focusing on one ancestor or family group and the area and time period
in which they lived. The report is more of a “story” of the ancestor(s), but is still
fully cited and includes copies of the documents obtained during research.
Research time can vary and will be negotiated at the beginning of the project.

Local Research for out of the area researchers
I can conduct research at local repositories for items to answer a specific
research question. Research time can vary and will be negotiated at the
beginning of the project.

Photos of graves at local cemeteries
I can visit a local cemetery (within a 20 mile radius of Yakima, WA) to find and
photograph the grave of an ancestor. Multiple graves within one cemetery
photographed at no additional charge. Cost includes mileage.

Additional fees:
The following items are in addition to the basic research fees outlined above, unless otherwise stated in
the client contract:
 Actual costs of photocopies, photographs, microfilm rental fees, postage, parking fees, and other
necessary out-of-pocket expenses.
 Mileage outside of a 5-mile radius of Yakima, Washington (charged to the Client at the rate
authorized by the IRS)
