Throughout the month, we will talk Winter Celebrations, including Christmas, Las Posadas, Kwanzaa,
and Hanukkah. This will include nouns for different holiday food and traditions (Christmas tree, piñatas,
basket of fruit) and activities/actions (light candles, walk, sing carols, play with special toys like Dreidals).
In addition, we will talk about family members and home (furniture, rooms). We will also talk about
actions such as falling snow, hanging lights, blowing out candles, giving/receiving gifts and other verbs
associated with the holidays. Take the time to read books and look at pictures about our monthly
theme, and/or walk around and talk about the rain and cold weather you see around home!
