Check-list of materials for admittance to
The Youth Performing Arts School (YPAS).
The following items should be assembled as a packet and send to YPAS
Résumé - should include previous arts experience, classes, teachers,
and training. Any awards, honors, and extra curricular activities.
Picture - of only yourself, no group or family shots. Attach it to the résumé
in the upper right hand corner.
Essay - on “Why you want to attend YPAS”. One page only, please type.
School Transcripts - Middle School Grades & Test Scores. A Xerox
copy will suffice.
Two Student Profile Forms - These take the place of letters of
recommendation and should be filled out by some one that knows your
Performance/arts abilities. The forms are located at www.ypas.org and
should be added to your packet, e-mailed, or snail-mailed directly to
YPAS c/o Kathleen Kronauer.
Artist/Designer Portfolio – Bring to your audition only if you are
auditioning in Design and Production.
All of these materials should be at The Youth Performing Arts School
no later than January 9, 2015.
