Wednesday 24th June Partners Programme: Lake Hayes and Arrowtown Tour
Departing from the hotel at 10am, you will travel from Queenstown to the majestic Lake Hayes. You might
opt to walk around the lake: this spectacular walk is a comfortable one and a half hour. If you would prefer
not to walk there is an option of visiting some local art galleries. After a stunning walk or gallery visit you will
then travel the short distance into Arrowtown.
The former gold mining town of Arrowtown is a living, historic holiday destination. Arrowtown is nestled
beside the Arrow River, and is the home of unique attractions. Visitors can enjoy gold panning, tours around
historic buildings, the Chinese Miners Settlement and the district’s museum. Buckingham Street, the town’s
main street and the lanes and arcades around it, are a shopping attraction, offering a wide range of quality
products including fashion, galleries, jade, gifts and local wines. Enjoy lunch at leisure in one of the many
quaint eateries. Rendezvous with the bus before returning to Queenstown around 3pm

Thursday 25th June Partners Programme: Wine Tour – It’s your Tour
An intimate tour that is specifically designed for you.
Take a journey to some of the world’s most memorable vineyards, at your own pace.
Enjoy the experience of local guides and their familiarity with the vineyards of Central Otago. Groups are kept
small to make it an interactive experience, enabling you to share the scenery and culture with your group.
With a choice of 22 cellar doors located in the Gibbston, Bannockburn and Cromwell areas we are spoilt for
choice of fabulous vineyards to stop at. You will visit four vineyards along the way and enjoy spectacular
scenery and a great commentary on the history of the area from your knowledgeable guide along the way.
Depart the hotel mid-morning and savour the tastes of a platter style lunch at one of the wineries before
exploring the wine region in the afternoon.

Shotover Jet
It’s an adrenaline rush you’ll never forget! From the moment the accelerator hits the floor, your adrenaline
hits the roof as you power through the Shotover River and deep into the Shotover River canyons. It’s an
amazing ride, as the Shotover Canyon walls tower over you and your driver skilfully whips the boat past rocky
outcrops, and skims around the crags and boulders. Rock faces blur in your peripheral vision, the opaque
water sprays into myriads of white crystals with every turn. You grip the safety rail for comfort and
reassurance and then let out a whoop of excitement as the driver spins the boat around in its boat length –
wow; you have just experienced the ‘trademark’ Shotover Jet 360 degree spin! You will stop briefly while
your driver points out interesting landmarks or points of interest.

Lake Cruise and BBQ Lunch
Combine your fabulous cruise across Lake Wakatipu with a guided farm visit and delicious barbecue lunch at
Walter Peak Station. The barbecue is freshly prepared and served to you either on the lakeside terrace or
inside the Homestead. Fresh salads and crusty bread perfectly complement the food sizzling on the grill. You
can see the chefs cooking live in front of you – it doesn’t get fresher than that. Before or after the barbecue
there is time for you to see the farm animals and to join in the farmyard walking tour.

Zip Trek
The best framed views of Lake Wakatipu can be experienced on an interpretive guided tour using flying foxes
as low impact adventure access. Ziptrek Ecotours offers a thrilling eco-adventure experience, while also
providing the opportunity to learn about what this breathtaking place has to offer between each zipline.
Please note you must wear closed toed footwear on this tour. Warm layers are recommended as the

Moa 4-Line Tour: The perfect starter to your adventure experience in Queenstown. The Moa comprises four

Kawarau Bungy
The first commercial Bungy site in the world, the Kawarau Bridge Bungy is an exciting 43m drop above the spectacular
Kawarau River. Take the plunge from this Department of Conservation Historic Reserve just 20 minutes from the heart of
Queenstown. Forwards, backwards, by yourself or with a friend... it’s up to you. This is the only Bungy in Queenstown
where you can choose to bob over the water, touch it or get fully immersed. It is also Queenstown’s only tandem Bungy
but don’t think sharing the jump means the fear is halved!

Safari of the Scenes – Wakatipu Basin
You will be picked up from your hotel for a true adventure safari packed with goldmining history, thrilling 4WD river
crossings and a great overview of the diverse scenery of the Queenstown / Arrowtown area. Visit the filming locations of
Minas Tirith, Misty Mountains, the Pillars of the Kings (Argonath) and more! Try your hand at gold panning and enjoy
morning or afternoon tea on the riverbank.
The Wakatipu Basin tour takes you out of Queenstown towards The Remarkables mountain range. Travel part of the way
up this beautiful mountain range to a lookout point which provides a bird’s eye view over Deer Park Heights. From
Arrowtown we travel up Coronet Peak offering spectacular panoramic views over the Wakatipu Basin and in to Skippers

Snow Shoeing
A wonderful way for everyone to experience the mountains. No alpine or skiing experience is necessary – if
you can walk you can snow shoe. Slim line snowshoes which let you feel as if you are floating across the snow.
You will be picked up from your hotel and driven to the top of the iconic Remarkables mountain range. At the
top, the team will be kitted with snow shoes and poles before experiencing the serenity of the spectacular
'back country' of Queenstown. Enjoy million-dollar views at a basin just shy of the top of the mountains.
Nothing beats a coffee and snack, sitting in a freshly-carved snow-seat, enjoying the serenity.
Wear warm layers, sunglasses, gloves and beanie. Footwear must be sensible, sturdy outdoor footwear closed toe shoes eg waterproof running shoes or ideally tramping boots. Snow shoes are provided, jackets
