MEETING NOTES:

Eco-Code not all classes have eco code displayed-please check

Power Down day 7 November- Councillors to continue monitoring and taking meter readings.

EWRW 16-24 November. Focus on food waste.20 Nov Cash for Clobber Collection
(Shea to do letter and text). Date for Collection for British Heart Foundation after
Christmas. We reuse paper and plastic bottles in class.
5.
Bio-mass Boiler-Visit to Hollybush Jack and Oonagh went on the visit they saw the wooden pellets and the boiler. Great saving on cost.
6.
Wrigley’s Litterless Campaign lots of fruit and bags and milk cartons are still being found in the playground. We could have an assembly to remind people to pick up litter. Adam is going to put new labels on basins. We could also put the basins in specific places for each class. We need two basins for p7b and p5b
7.
Walk to school on Wed 16 Oct. walk to school was very successful. Everyone who walked got a prize.

8.
Scarecrow prizegiving- Shea, Sophie, Caitlin and Rachael went to prizegiving. We got a tree. Eco club voted to donate the tree. Gareth Austin to organise the tree planting.
9.
Bulb planting half the school planted the bulbs. We had lots of donations most classrooms have plants beside the computers.
10.
Posters for recycling bins need to be made.( Eco-club?)
