Letter to yourself
Take some time to write a letter to yourself that you can read at the very end of this school year. In the letter you may
like to write about:
How are you feeling in the class/first year so far?
What are your academic goals for the year?
What are your greatest concerns?
What are you most excited about?

Take a moment to think of some keywords from last week and write them down on the board. We will go through each
quickly and make sure we all understand them!

Mix and Match (GAME) (15 mins)
the class will be divided into two teams. Each team will be given a set of slips of paper. In each set, there will be several
names of important figures within psychology. Also, there will be names of different schools of thought, sub groups of
psychology, theories etc. your task is to match up the schools of thought, theories, experiments etc with their
corresponding figure. The team that finishes the quickest with ALL answers correct shall be crowned champions :)
Snowball (10 mins)
