GLIMPSES OF GLORY (4 HOURS)
Cochin, the commercial capital of Kerala, is enormously rich in heritage. It became the first
European township in India when the Portuguese settled
here in the 15th century. The tour Includes visit to Dutch
Palace built in 1557 and renowned for its murals, St. Francis
Church built in 1503 by the Portuguese, Jewish
Synagogue, the oldest Synagogue in the Commonwealth
and the huge Chinese Fishing nets erected between 1350
and 1450 AD. All the historical places will get closed by 5 pm.

PURSUIT OF THE PAST (8 HOURS)
Take a detour to the glorious past of Cochin. In addition to the places in the above said 4 hour
Glimpses of Glory Tour, it also includes a nostalgic tour to
Hill Palace Museum, the official residence of the Kochi
royal family in the past, giving exciting knowledge of
Cochin’s history.
This is the largest archaeological
museum in Kerala, consisting 49 buildings in traditional
Kerala Architecture.

BECKONING BACKWATERS (4 HOURS)
The most wanted package of the discerning tourists of
Kerala.
Cruising in the tranquil backwaters of
Alappuzha/Kumarakom is an experience unique to
Kerala. Luxury Houseboats made in ethnic designs
ensure cozy cruising to enjoy the exotic beauty of the
inland waters.
There are two different programs to
choose from. The Day Tour includes road transfer (1
hour–one way) to and from Alappuzha, 4 hour boating,
lunch and tea/coffee on the boat.

FALL IN LOVE WITH THE FALLS (ATHIRAPPILLY FALLS)
Athirappilly and Vazhachal, the two scenic waterfalls on the edge of the Sholayar forest ranges
are just 5 kms apart. The Athirappalli Falls (2 hours drive
from Cochin) joins the Chalakkudy River after plummeting
down a drop of 80 feet. The cool, misty waters cascading
down in the backdrop of thick green forest and rocky
terrain gives a scintillating experience to visitors.

TWILIGHT SPLENDOR (SUNSET CRUISE- 1.30hrs )
A two-hour sunset cruise in the harbour area of Cochin,
the Queen of Arabian Sea.
Spectacular views of
backwaters, Cochin city, Cochin Port and watch sunset
from the Sea mouth. The boating starts from and ends up
at city jetty. Transfer to and from Marine Drive by road.

MYSTIQUE MUNNAR (HILL STATION TOUR)
The high up hill station where you get lost in the enthralling
beauty of the Tea Estates. The drive to Munnar through
the green forest roads is as fascinating as the destination.
The places of interest are Tea Museum, The Eravikulam
National Park, Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, etc...

UNSEEN BACKWATERS
A brief 2 hour boating in the picture-book backwaters
nearby Le Meridien Hotel. Start right from the hotel
and drift through narrow pathways as you watch the

A 1½ hour program designed to reflect almost the entire gamut of Kerala’s ancient and uniquely
multi-discipline culture in seamless, vibrant and in a colorful manner. Includes stunning
performance
of
Mohiniyattam
,
Bharathanattiayam
,Kuchhipudi, Kalaripayattu & Kathakali -perhaps the only
dance form in which the entire body is used to portray a story.
The theater is 30 minutes drive away from Le Meridien.
Duration: 5 to 6pm make up , 6 pm to 745pm will be the show
THE ETHNIC EXPERIENCE (VILLAGE TOUR)
Visit a tranquil yet vibrant village called Kumbalangi near Cochin. Stroll on the countryside as
you watch the picture-book beauty of the village and many ethnic activities of the villagers.
Watch crab farming, netting of coconut leaves, making of copra (dry coconut) and various
methods of fishing.
Duration: 3hours in the morning or in the afternoon.
