Saturday, September 19, Translational Workshop
Implementation of theory- and evidenced-based treatments in the clinic.
This “Hands-on” workshop provides an opportunity for researchers and clinicians to work
together to identify ways to implement a treatment. The morning session will include an
overview of a treatment approaches developed by the researcher that will be shared with
clinicians in the afternoon. The afternoon breakout sessions (child language and adult language)
will include instructions and practice in carrying out treatment approaches and discussion among
researchers and clinicians of factors to consider when implementing treatments in the clinic or
school setting.
