Dear Friends,
It has been a remarkable year for
GOTRNJN. With a focus on building joy,
health and confidence, our organization is
bringing about positive change in a big way.
We are steadily growing and expanding our
reach into more and more communities. In
fact, we are proud to now serve
communities in Sussex, Bergen, Passaic
and Hudson County.
Our commitment to accessible, impactful
programming remains strong, as is our
focus on giving back to the communities we
serve in. Our teams completed over 50
community impact projects this year alone,
all executed by our girls. Across Northern
New Jersey, volunteer coaches taught our
girls important skills and the power we all
have-no matter what our age or
circumstances- to give back to our
communities.
This fall, we launched our new middle
school program, Heart and Sole. This
new “girl led” initiative was met with
tremendous success and we are looking
forward to growing this amazing program
in the year of 2016.
GOTRNJN is committed to providing a safe
space where girls can learn what it means
to be the leaders of their own lives. We will
continue to work hard to ensure all of our
girls and volunteers recognize the strength
and power each of them have to boldly
pursue their dreams.
