Pueblo Bulldogs Volleyball 2015
It is volleyball season! Volleyball begins very soon and those wishing to represent Pueblo on the
volleyball court must prepare quickly for tryouts. Volleyball tryouts are open to all girls in 6th, 7th and
8th grade. Two teams of 12 athletes, a Varsity team and a Junior varsity team will be selected to
represent the Bulldogs on the volleyball court. The Varsity team may represent students in 8th, 7th or
6th grade. The Junior Varsity team may represent students in 7th or 6th grade only.
The purpose of our districts’ athletic program is to provide an educationally sound program that
emphasizes participation, cooperation, good sportsmanship and teamwork, as well as healthy
competition for the middle school student-athlete. Winning is great and is an objective, but not the
goal. Our goal is to provide the student athlete with the opportunity to acquire basic skills, confidence,
and knowledge of the game along with a sense of loyalty, team play and sportsmanship.
We are looking forward to a great season with lots of fun and learning!!
