2. We will have 2 vocabulary quizzes this semester. It is important that students are reviewing the words
weekly because they are expected to put them into their writing assignments.
3. I send out a weekly email explaining what we covered in class, what the homework is for the week and
updates on how the students are doing. Please make sure I have your email.
4. Parents are expected to help students with their assignments weekly and also to grade the essays using
the checklist given with each lesson.
