There are 142 kilometres of ski pistes just waiting to be explored in the Dachstein West Ski Region.
Plenty of snow is guaranteed. There are plenty of places to relax and enjoy some après ski too. The
region is equipped with modern chair lifts and cable cars, and the slopes are always in top
condition. There are numerous rustic mountain huts where you can stop off and enjoy delicious
home-cooked snacks whilst enjoying the spectacular panoramic mountain views.

Freesports Arena boasts an 11 km long ski run as well as 30 kilometres of off piste skiing.
Whether you choose to ski, go snowboarding or snowshoeing, the modern cable car will transport
you up to the plateau at 2000 m from where there are also dramatic views of the Dachstein.

Aside from the slopes, there is much more to enjoy in the region. Choose between a strenuous
snowshoeing or winter hiking expedition. There are 105 km of cross country ski trails, or
you might choose to rest your weary spirits and join in the fun at an ice curling contest. A romantic
horse-drawn sleigh ride or tobogganing in the moonlight is the perfect way to round off the
day.

all aspects of your holiday, starting with finding suitable accommodation. Many of the local
landlords are experts in particular fields. Some are tour guides themselves, and others specialize in
organizing family holidays. The tourist offices are central drop-in centres where help and advice
are always on hand.
