Cost Summary

Any variations thereto, abnormal working
conditions or other work found necessary may be subject to amended charges.
4) Direct CCTV’s policy is one of constant improvement. We reserve the right to alter the
specification of any component part or parts of the system at our discretion at any time without
notice. We also reserve the right because of difficulties in obtaining supplies, to use at our
discretion equipment and materials other than those specified providing this does not
materially affect the performance of the system.
CONTRACT NOTES
INSTALLATION – Additional Works (upon application)
Our proposals for additional works includes the installation and commissioning of specified equipment and for
the supply and installation of all necessary cabling between the cameras, access equipment, alarm points and
the control positions. All cabling provided is in accordance with relevant British standards and will be installed to
IEE Regulation Standards. Normally cabling will be surface run and clipped unless specifically stated otherwise in
the specification.
The Customer is to advise Direct CCTV of concealed pipes, wires and cables for water, gas, electricity, telephone or
other services affecting the Premises and confirm the location of such services to the Direct CCTV engineer before
work commences.
During the installation of the system there could be a period of time when the system is in-operative. Under these
circumstances it is the Customer’s responsibility to make the necessary alternative security arrangements.
ELECTRICAL WORKS
Unless specifically stated elsewhere in this quotation our proposal does not include any mains electrical works.
COMMISSIONING/PERSONNEL TRAINING
On completion of the installation a full commissioning test will be made of the system by our Commissioning
Engineers.
When commissioning is completed, the personnel involved with the operation of the system will be fully trained in
its operation (in line with our Scheduled Rates)
CONDITIONS
This offer is made subject to our standard Terms and Conditions of Business, with the following specific
conditions applicable to this Time and Materials Contract.
This proposal is made on the understanding that provision at each PSU, SRI/DRI (above each controlled door,
unless agreed otherwise), Alarm Input Panel and ISC position of a 240 volt single phase 50Hz 13 amp power
supply, installed within 1 meter of equipment locations will be the responsibility of others. The same would apply
for each CCTV camera position and items of CCTV control equipment.
This proposal is made on the understanding that all cable routes, metal conduit and cable trays are supplied and
installed by others. All ground ducts to be provided by others and are to be complete with suitable draw wires.
Where applicable, use of existing equipment or wiring shall be subject to satisfactory inspection at the time of
installation. Should any repair or replacement be found necessary or subsequently ensue, this may give rise to
additional charges.
This offer is made on the understanding that all door furniture, other than that specified within this proposal, is
supplied and installed by others.
The condition of all doors and frames is the responsibility of others. It is also the responsibility of others to ensure
that all doors close effectively and are fitted with an appropriate heavy duty, double action door closer or
equivalent.
No builders or civil works, making good nor decoration or moving material/equipment to gain access have been
allowed for in this proposal.
Provision for site welfare facilities, dry and secure storage and site power for the charging of hand tools, should
be provided by others.
