About Us
East African Language Solutions is a professional translation and localization firm, based
in Nairobi, Kenya, dedicated to providing high quality translation and localization
services. The firm offers African languages, namely, Swahili, Somali, Luganda, Tigrinya,
Congolese Swahili, Amharic, Kirundi, Lingala, Kinyarwanda, Zulu, Afrikaan, Bemba,
Xhosa, Shona, Sesotho, Neur and Dinka.
The firm started with a single language, Swahili, but in 2012 we incorporated other
African languages to our profile. Since its founding in 2010, it has become one of the
leading providers of translation and localization services in Africa having worked with a
worldwide clientele, ranging from individuals to multinational corporations.

Linguists
At East African Language Solutions we have two native linguists for every language we
offer who resides in their native countries.
We demand three basic requirements from our linguists:
 Be native speakers;
 Proven intellect of foreign languages, mostly English as an international languages;
and
 Extensive scope of knowledge of the industries we specialize in.
All of their qualifications and capabilities have been carefully analyzed and chosen from
a number of applicants by our rigorous examination. They all have a minimum of three
years translating experience in their native language, and hold at least a diploma in
translation or foreign languages studies.
We maintain the same high standards of qualification assessment, recruitment and
training for all our freelance translators.
