This is strictly voluntary. Some of the items you may have at home or there are lots of GOOD DEALS at office supply stores and Walmart. Paper Towels, Paper or Styrofoam bowls, plates, cups – all colors, aluminum foil, wax paper, black Sharpies (This is one of our most used items!), baggies, new boxes of markers (This is our most used item), pencils, boxes of colored pencils, white cardstock, Clorox surface wipes, Pencil Sharpener, etc. We study 3 cultures and 1 time period in art. If you have any art items that would be West African (masks, Kente or Andinkra cloth, or other African artifacts), Native American (clothing, artifacts like pottery, masks ), Appalachian (quilts, wooden carvings, or folk art) , or Colonial America (pieces of silver or needlework like samplers). Anything else you have – just ask. ADDITIONAL NEEDS We request that parents please donate AA batteries. These are used with our electronic clicker student response systems. We encourage parents to bring supplies during our open house we are planning for August 10th.
