 Must be pursuing an engineering or computer science degree at Ohio State University, Ohio University, Marrieta College, or
another university in the Central Ohio Region.
 Must submit entire application by email by 10pm on April 1, 2015. Applications emailed after 10pm on April 1, 2015 will
not be considered.
 Must include unofficial transcripts with application. Applications without transcripts will not be considered.

2013 SCHOLARSHIP SELECTION CRITERIA
Academic Performance (10 percent)
Based on information provided in unofficial transcripts. Must be a 3.0/4.0 or better to be considered.
Essay (40 percent)
On a separate sheet of paper write a one page essay explaining what you want to do with your engineering degree. The essay will be
graded on grammar, spelling, neatness, creativity, and content.
Awards/Honors (20 percent)
On a separate sheet of paper (or included in a resume), in order of importance to you, list any awards and/or honors which you have
received. Also, state the basis of selection and date received for each award, honor, or scholarship. Provided via a resume is
acceptable.
Leadership, Activities and Employment (30 percent)
On a separate sheet of paper (or included in a resume), list in order of importance to you, the most important activities (community,
church, school, sports etc.) in which you have been involved with during college. If you list a job, include your supervisor’s name and
phone number. Include any offices or leadership positions held, hours per week, and what you learned or gained from the experience.
Provided via a resume is acceptable.
