East Central European, Balkan and Baltic Studies (ECEBB)
LECTURE PASS
Part of the optional basic or intermediate ECEBB studies can be taken through a lecture pass. The extent
of studies taken through a lecture pass is one to five ECTS credits. Students collect entries in their lecture
passes by participating in events dealing with the ECEBB region and by writing lecture diaries or essays
about them. Acceptable events include for example guest lectures, seminars, conferences and public examinations of doctoral dissertations organised by the university.
For example, eight lectures of at least 1½ hours and a two-page lecture diary from each lecture are equivalent to 2 ECTS credits. If you wish to write an essay about some theme collected in your lecture pass, you
must first agree on the essay’s scope and number of ECTS credits with the teacher in charge. Please attach programme of each lecture as well as lecture diaries or essays to the pass.
