For Fiction books:
What do the main characters look like? (e.g.
hair/eye color, body build, authenticity,
distinguishing features, etc.)
Character names and pronunciation
Give FULL synopsis of the plot, including key
characters. If there is a significant climax,
epiphany or turning point, please describe this in
detail.
For Nonfiction books:
Is there a table of contents? If yes, include it as
Word document
Give a complete outline, chapter-by-chapter, if
necessary. This outline should describe the subject
matter, approach, tone, and the significance of the
topic. Include it as a Word document
Is your book instructional? If yes, describe the
subject matter, approach, and your credentials or
background which you uniquely qualified in the
field.
For Children's books:
What is the target audience age?
What is the children's category of the book? (e.g.
picture book, easy-reader, chapter book, etc.)

Please note: If you plan to provide your own script please take into account the following:



a two minute video is about 12 images with one brief line of text on each
we can use only royalty-free images. If you would like a very specific image (such as your main
character standing in front of a courtroom, or a red dragon dressed in purple robes, etc.) it may
not be available. Please give alternative suggestions, or try thinking outside the box for images
that suggest the mood instead.
a video should be a hook, not a complete synopsis of your book. Shy away from the temptation
to tell the whole story.
