I am very excited to start our
new unit on animals!! The
children have been asking
questions about animals, their
habitats, and what they eat. We
will start focusing on pets this
next week as we prepare for our
field trip.
Thoughts For The Week
We had a great turn out for our Donuts and Dining with Dad!!! The kids loved
sharing their meals with you and having you visit the classroom.
This week we started charting what we know about animals, where they live, and
what sounds they make.
We will chart the pets we have, as we start learning about animals we can have
as pets, how to care for them and even talk about what we will see at PetCo on
our field trip.
***Home Visits are starting December 11. I have sent home a signup sheet for
you to pick two dates/times that work for you for us to come visit you at home
and let you know how your child is doing in school. If Fridays will no work, please
let me know so we can make other arrangements. Thank you!
Small Groups
This week we made paper plate peppermints, worked on patterning, letter ID
and sounds, and taking turns.
Next Week:
We will start learning about animals
that live near us: pets, zoo, & forest.
