As you will be aware, new specifications for GCSE English Language and GCSE English
Literature will be taught from September 2015 for first award in 2017. The qualifications have been accredited and the Specifications and Specimen Assessment Materials are now available on the website here .
WJEC has arranged two series of free CPD events led by subject officers and senior examiners in each of the four consortium regions. The first, in the autumn term, will be halfday briefing sessions providing an introduction to the new requirements. The second, in the spring term, will be more detailed full-day events to help teachers prepare to teach the new qualifications.
We are very pleased to invite a member of staff from each centre to one of the events below.
