RE: Request for Donation to Maryland COPS
Dear Sir,
Saturday, April 5th, 2014, the Maryland Concerns of Police Survivors will host
the 1st Annual Michael S. Nickerson Memorial Sporting Clay Classic. Officer
Nickerson was one of the over 300 police officers that have been killed in the line
of duty in Maryland. Michael’s love for the sporting clays is the driving force
behind this worthy event. The event will be held on Maryland’s Eastern Shore at
Delmarva Sporting Clays & Shooting Range in Mardela Springs, Md.
COPS provides resources to assist the families of law enforcement officers
killed in the line of duty. We further provide training, psychological counseling,
and scholarships to the spouse and children of the fallen law enforcement officer.
COPS is a 501 c 3 non-profit organization in Maryland We respectfully ask for
your donation to support our cause.
This event will honor law enforcement officers that have been killed in the line
