DESCRIPTION (field, expectations, comments):
A candidate for the position should have:
- PhD degree in physical, chemical, biological or related sciences,
- very good command of Polish and English (written and oral),
- working experience in an interdisciplinary research team on the border of materials, chemical, physical and
biological sciences,
- knowledge, experience and scientific achievements in:
 synthesis and post-treatment of nanostructures and nanomaterials, preparation of thin film and hybrid
structures,
 surface modification methods of nanostructures and nanomaterials and their functionalization,
 characterization of nanomaterials using electron microscopy techniques; fluorescence and confocal
microscopy, as well as AFM; XRD; SQUID; DLS; spectrophotometric and spectrofluorimetric techniques;
other spectroscopic techniques e.g.: NMR, BDS, Raman; molecular biology techniques; UHV techniques,
 application of nanoparticles in biomedicine (e.g.: bioimaging, biosensors, regenerative medicine,
theranostics) and/or in materials sciences (e.g. electronics, photovoltaics) and environment protection (e.g.
catalysis),
 assessment methods of the impact of nanomaterials on living organisms.
