RADIATION SAFETY CERTIFICATION
PREPARING FOR NON-IONISING RADIATION CERTIFICATION IN
A LASER LABORATORY/PRACTICE
1. PREPARATION OVERVIEW
During laser laboratory certification a number of documents and systems are viewed. Collecting these documents prior to the
laser laboratory certification visit or ensuring they are available on the day assists in the overall certification process.
Documents can be forwarded to radiation-infor@unimelb.edu.au prior to the scheduled inspection. Alternatively, please
indicate that these documents will be available on the day of certification.

2. DOCUMENT PREPARATION
In the following table list the current documents and processes available in the local area. Attach all the relevant documents
along with this document and send to radiation-infor@unimelb.edu.au.
Alternatively attach this document only and have all other documentation available on the day of certification.
