A 1 day course for Speech and Language Therapists who want to increase their knowledge and skills in working
with people with disorders of consciousness. Learning objectives:




To understand the role of the SLT in assessing and managing communication and swallowing in PDoC patients
Updating practice according to the 2013 RCP PDoC guidelines
To have knowledge of the assessments in use with this patient group.
To gain practical ideas on managing patients from teaching and case studies.

