What is yogic breathing?
Pranayama is the science of breath control. The techniques help stabilize and focus the
mind. Yoga practitioners use yoga breathing to prepare for meditation.
The benefits of pranayama are impressive; you will have a renewed sense of
wellbeing. Mentally clear and physically lighter. As there is large amounts of oxygen
entering the body making you feel refreshed and energised. Stress and stain will be removed!
Workshop content:






Relaxation
Basic breathing exercises- understanding your breath
Sun salutes and basic yogic exercise to connect breathe and body
Breathe of fire (Kapalabati)
Alternate nostril breathing (anuloma veloma)
Relaxation
*Please note *
Do not eat heavy meals 2 hours prior workshop
Ensure your sinuses are clear; breathing is free through both nostrils
*Optional* Bring cushion for more comfort (there are some available)
