The Stark Community Foundation
PARTNERS IN EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP FUND
The Partners in Education Scholarship Fund provides financial assistant to college and university students in
Stark County who have completed at least one year of undergraduate course work and show a high degree of
academic and leadership abilities.
A. REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must:
o Be a resident of Stark County, Ohio.
o Be a graduate of a Stark County high school pursuing an undergraduate degree.
o Be enrolled at one of the following accredited college/university’s located in Stark County:
 Aultman College of Nursing & Health Sciences
 Kent State University-Stark
 Malone University
 Stark State College
 University of Mount Union
 Walsh University
o Have a minimum of 24 post-secondary credit hours completed by the end of spring term with a
minimum GPA of 2.6.
o Show a demonstrated financial need.
o Show evidence of school and community involvement, leadership, and a good work ethic.
Completed application with transcripts, essay and letters of recommendation, must be received by the
Stark Community Foundation by April 15. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Relatives of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees are not eligible.
