








Manage the overall operational functions of a combined inpatient Epilepsy Monitoring
Unit and Clinical Research Unit including establishment, monitoring and implementation
of standards of practice, budget planning, and development of policies and procedures.
Manage the overall operational functions of the outpatient Clinical Research Unit
Hire and supervise direct reports including unclassified, and union contracts: RNs,
Health Unit Coordinators, research associates, and research assistants to achieve
organizational objectives
Contribute to budget development for operations and capital equipment. Monitor
outcomes for the inpatient and outpatient units
Manage Program income in relation to budget and spending for the CTRC
Develop staff, competencies, and monitor compliance
Coordinate collaboration between two institutional missions; the Healthcare Mission and
the Research Mission with implementation of hospital and research initiatives
Coordinate and prioritize resource utilization between the CTRC and the Epilepsy
Monitoring Unit
Responsible for ongoing quality improvement program for identification, analysis and
resolution of patient and participant care issues
