I am writing to tell you about sponsorship opportunities for Tees Valley YMCA and [add

programme.
Community Games provide a great opportunity to bring the community together to take part in
sporting and cultural activities inspired by, and in celebration of, the London 2012 Olympic
and Paralympic Games. Tees Valley YMCA and [Name of the event] will be an opportunity to
celebrate the 2012 Games and to create our own Olympic moment.
I would like to ask if [company name] would consider supporting our [name of the event] by
becoming an event sponsor. Sponsorship can bring tangible business benefits including
brand exposure, a strong PR platform and an enhanced image with your customers and
suppliers. It is also an opportunity to engage you staff and demonstrate your commitment to
the local community.
There are a number of sponsorship packages available including:
Gold Sponsorship
As the sole Gold sponsor, you will have your company logo on all event materials including
the front page of the event brochure and a full-page advert. Your logo also will be featured on
all marketing material and throughout the event. There will also be brand exposure through
our website (www.teesvalleyymca.org.uk) as well as local media coverage. The cost of
becoming a gold sponsor is £5,000.
Silver Sponsorship
With Silver sponsorship your support and company logo will be prominently recognised in the
event programme, including a full-page advert. Your logo will also be featured on all
marketing material and there will be branding exposure at the event itself. The cost of
becoming a Silver sponsor is £2,500.
Bronze Sponsorship
With Bronze sponsorship your company logo will be recognised in our event programme with
a half-page advert. Your logo also will be featured on all marketing material. The cost of
becoming a bronze sponsor is £1,000.
We are also seeking support through Gift in Kind donations, for example, raffle prizes, prizes
for competitions at the event, T-shirts and Goody Bag items for participants. All donations will
be acknowledged in our event programme.
